Mark O'Leary in his early career performed in one of the first Depeche Mode oriented Synth band called Voltaire, Depeche Mode were a major influence on Mark and on the band.
Also his tune Supermodel is alluded to as Vince Clarke era Depeche Mode.
His forthcoming album Liberty Kansas Sun has several songs redolent of Depeche Mode including Basildon Chap.
